Ways to Get Involved

"Mid-Week"

The primary role during our "mid-week" program is to be a caring adult who points student toward God. Our midweek program is divided up into: Activity, Message, and Interaction. Your role would be helping out in these areas while caring for students and helping them grow closer to God. Please fill out the application or for more information.

Discussion Group Leader

This is the largest role in our ministry. A discussion group leader shepherds a group of students (7th grade guys; 7th grade gals; 8th grade guys; 8th grade gals). We ask discussion group leaders to follow up with students outside of youth group, and to meet as a discussion group at least once a semester outside of youth group. Discussion Group Helper

A discussion group helper is someone who partners with a discussion group leader in shepherding the discussion group. Please fill out the application or for more information.

An Engaged Parent

Once our kids begin to hit the teenage years, sometimes we may feel like we are in the way as parents and that we need to back away from our students. WRONG! Yes, we do need to help our students become independent. Yes, we do need to allow our students to begin making decisions. But you are still the parents, and you play a VITAL role in your students lives. Influence your student by influencing their peers. Invite your student's discussion group over to your house to hang out. Then, while everyone is jumping into line for food, have everyone share a prayer request and pray for each other before they eat.
