School Supply Drive : July 27 - August 24

A new school year requires new supplies: pencils, paper, crayons, notebooks, and much, much more. For some parents the list is a heavy burden.

This year Random Acts of Friendship would like to help the families at Kestrel Village Apartments, an area of subsidized housing in Prior Lake. Please consider blessing them by picking up extra school supplies and dropping them off at the collection container near the Welcome Center.

Past Events:

The following are some ideas on how you can share God's love in practical ways. There are small "Random Acts of Kindness" cards available at the Welcome Center for you to hand out as you bless someone. We will try to make new suggestions every month or so.

1. Bring in your neighbor’s garbage can from the curb on pick up day.
2. Help a neighbor or elderly person with their yard work.
3. Bring your family to Feed My Starving Children and package food for children overseas.
4. Walk the neighbor’s dog.
5. Take a friend’s children to the park for the afternoon.
6. Clean house for an elderly person you know.
7. Bring some vegetables or flowers from the garden to someone who is ill.
8. Wash the neighbor’s car for them.
